Building Our Path
It is said that kindness is the language the deaf can hear and the blind can see. We believe it. The kindness shown toward us as we continue to build our company path has been overwhelming and surpasses the senses. Words, frankly, can not adequately express our sincere appreciation for the abundance of support, encouragement, generosity, kindness and faith toward our company goals - it truly is amazing!
Below you will see the individuals and groups we wish to publicly recognize:
Outdoor Research: In 2012, through the overwhelming generosity of the local Seattle outdoor apparel company, Outdoor Research, our glove solution finally became market ready. Prior to their support, our garage-tech prototype was effective but still needed tweaking and design improvement for manufacturing. The current solution, now available to all, utilizes the original prototype traits; however, is simpler for the end user and better suited for mass production. If this were not enough, Outdoor Research donated fabric for the gloves! Like I said, overwhelming generosity...
Adam Gunn: Longtime friend and artist by trade, Adam Gunn is a Graphic-Designing-Wizard! Given a rough, cut & paste, original logo concept, Adam penned our Goat logo. Nailed it!
Ty Kelly: Longtime friend and Multimedia Producer by trade, Ty Kelly was instrumental with our ski glove product photographs (Pelo Blanco Photography). Say cheese!
Pearl Jam: Rock Band, Pearl Jam generously allowed the use of their song "Given to Fly" for our KickStarter Video. Thank you, boys!
Never underestimate the power contained in moral support! There are so many to thank. Unfortunately this space does not even remotely come close to allowing enough room to decently do the job. There is one group that does need special attention though...
Thank you to all the volunteers who participate in the Adaptive Ski Programs. It is you who help bring the dreams of sit skiers to life! And thank you for your continual encouragement to have us push forward and manufacture our ski glove. After a long await, our product is finally available for all.
